Leila Balashvili is an active woman from the village of Ruispiri in Telavi Municipality. She is involved in agriculture and is always focused on development. So, Leila participated in the Women’s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women. With the help of the project, Leila was able arrange the irrigation system.
Leila offers a variety of choices to her customers: potatoes, grapes of Saperavi variety, cucumbers, tomatoes, various herbs and beans, carrots, beets, ginger and more. She sells the harvest in Telavi agro market. Leila`s products are natural and very useful. Customers are also always satisfied with her service.
Leila has big plans for the future. She is going to set up a small farm. In addition, she is eager to share her knowledge and experience. Therefore, Leila wants to educate young people on important issues related to agriculture.
