Nino Kavtaradze lives in the village of Toloshi, Aspindza municipality. She participated in the Women’s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women as she always wanted to help her family with extra activities.
With the help of the project, Nino bought one cow and a calf. Now, her family has enough dairy products to eat healthy food.
In the future, Nino wants to expand the production and sell dairy products. For this, she needs at least one cow.
The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is supported by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), implemented in Georgia by Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), Taso Foundation (TF), and CARE International in the Caucasus (CARE).
