Eka Zurabashvili is a mother of three children from the village of Toloshi in Aspindza municipality. Her family's main source of income is agriculture. Eka had one cow, which was not enough for a family with five members.
To expand the production, Eka participated in the Women`s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women and purchased a cow with calve. She basically produces cheese and exchanges it in other products. Eka `s cheese is natural and very tasty.
Along with cattle breeding, Eka also wanted to start beekeeping, but because she has one child with disability, Eka does not have time to be involved in other activities. Therefore, she wants to expand her dairy business. For this, Eka needs additional cows.
