Emma Igitiani is a woman entrepreneur from the village of Vachiani in Akhalkalaki Municipality. Her family is involved in agriculture and produces a variety of vegetables: cauliflower, beets, garlic, potatoes, etc. To help her family Emma participated in the Women’s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women and purchased a hand tractor. With the help of the project, Emma's labor was simplified and the family income was also increased.
Emma’s products are healthy and her customers are always satisfied with the service. Emma mainly sells her products in the city and sometimes exchanges her vegetables to a variety of products for the family.
In the future, Emma wants to expand her production and cooperate with various stores. For this she needs additional beet seedlings.
