Ruzana Kulakhziani lives in the village of Kartikami in Akhalkalaki municipality. She has always been interested in beauty services. With the help of the UN Women and Taso Foundation Ruzana opened a beauty salon.
Ruzana offers quality services to her customers, including: brushing, hair coloring, haircuts, etc. In the frames of the project, Ruzana expanded the beauty salon service and also employed one local woman.
In the future, she still plans to develop and offer better services to her customers.
The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment project through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is part of the UN Women’s regional project “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the South Caucasus”, supported by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC). The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment project through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is implemented by Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), Taso Foundation (TF), and CARE Caucasus (CARE).
