"Doghurashi" is a wine-making cooperative in Tsageri municipality, and produces semi-sweet wine from endemic sorts of grapes called '"echkhumuri ojaleshi".
Doghurashi, as a cooperative was formed few years ago, but has a good potential for further development. The members of the cooperative continue wine-making traditions, that is spread in Lechkhumi region. The grapes of orbeluri (lechkhumuri) ojaleshi, that the cooperative members own is a special sort characteristic of the region and village.
After participating in cooperatives program, Doghurashi received wine processing equipment and built a factory with co-financing.
In the future, the cooperative plans to expand and develop their production, for which the promotion of the wines is important.
