Liana Kochitova is an active woman from the village of Khertvisi in Aspindza municipality. She always cares about the well-being of the family and tries her best to use every opportunity to develop. That is why Liana participated in the Women`s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women.
With the help of the project, Liana purchased a cow and calve, and actively started producing dairy products. She mainly produces cheese and milk and sells it to the locals. Liana`s dairy products are natural and very tasty.
Liana wants to expand her production in the future and attract more customers. For this, she need additional cows. Also, she wants to buy a tractor to simplify her job and save time.
The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is supported by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), implemented in Georgia by Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), Taso Foundation (TF), and CARE International in the Caucasus (CARE).
