Name : Marina Jvaridze - Agricultural Activities

Marina Jvaridze lives in the village of Toloshi in Aspindza municipality and is invoved in agricultural activities. Her family owns a land and cultivates potatoes, wheat, and so on. Marina always wanted to help her family. That is why Marina participated in the Women`s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women.

With the help of the project, Marina purchased a hand tractor and now cultivates her land easily. The tractor gave Marina quite a big advantage, both in terms of labor and time.

Marina plans to expand and develop her business activities in the future. Particularly she wants to plant and sell raspberry. The tractor purchased within the project will be useful for her in this case as well. For a raspberry business, Marina needs some finances for seedlings, fencing, and water supply.
