Name : Lamara`s Beekeeping

Lamara Inasaridze lives in the village of Sviri in Akhaltsikhe municipality and is involved in beekeeping with her husband. To expand the production, Lamara participated in the Women’s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women.

With the help of the project, Lamara purchased bees and now  she’s focused on breeding them. She wants to offer natural and useful bee products, mainly honey, to the customers.

In the future, Lamara has big plans regarding the beekeeping. After bee breeding, she wants to produce and sell large quantities of honey and cooperation with some markets as well. For this she needs a honey extractor. The extractor will make Khatuna’s work easier and besides, it is an important equipment as she can’t take honey without it.
