Inga Glurjidze is a mother of young children from the village of Ruispiri, Telavi Municipality. She is very good at providing beauty salon services and always wanted to be employed in this field.
To fulfill her desire Inga participated in the Women`s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women. With the help of the project she purchased the appropriate equipment for providing beauty salon service.
Inga is very polite and professional in her work. She always cares about customer satisfaction and offer a quality service to the locals.
Inga also plans to expand in the future and diversify her service. For this, she need additional equipment.
The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is supported by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), implemented in Georgia by Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), Taso Foundation (TF), and CARE International in the Caucasus (CARE).
