Inga Papunashvili is an entrepreneur from the village of Ruispiri in Telavi Municipality. She is an active woman, always supports her family and thinks about development. So, Inga participated in the Women`s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women. With the help of the project, Inga bought an equipment to dry the fruit.
Inga tries to produce and sell dried fruits from various products, including: peaches, figs, tomatoes, plums and others. Her products are natural.
In the future she wants to develop and want to create her own brand and collaborate with different stores. For this Inga wants additional equipment to dry the dried fruit.
The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), implemented by Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), Taso Foundation (TF), and CARE International in the Caucasus (CARE).
