The cooperative "Otsneba" works on beekeeping in Samegrelo region. The cooeprative was founded in 2015 and its 11 members work together to follow the high standards in beekeeping and offer quality products.
Members of the cooperative have 20 years of experience working together. As a result, the cooperative has accumulated number of customers, but to widen its markets, "Otsneba" needs to develop to satisfy higher demands.
After participating in the project for cooperatives, the cooperative received beehives, bee families, truck and other inventories necessary for processing the honey. "Ostneba" has more opportunities now. With their experience, its members think to compete better with large organizations.
In the future, the cooperative has many plans, for which it needs more resources and support. "Otsneba" plans to increase the number of bee families and develop supply bases for bee. The cooperative also breeds mother bees, while at the same time, working for maintaining high quality honey.
