Chkhaveri wine from the cooperative "Bukistsikhe" produced in Chokhatauri, Guria.

Chkhaveri is an aboriginal sorts of grapes from Guria region and is adapted to the mild climate of Kolkheti lowlands. The grapes are distinguished with a long vegetative period.

Chkhaveri wine is balanced and gains quality within time.

It's also one of the rares grapes not only in Georgia but in the world, which can produce naturally rose wines.

Besides Chkhavery wine, the cooperative produces other sorts, such as Jani-Skhilatubani, kamuri white and red, all being unique and endemic sorts of the region.
