Name : Gulnara Elizbarian - Sewing Salon

Gulnara Elizbarian lives in the village of Kartikami in Akhalkalaki Municipality. She was always good at cutting and sewing and always wanted this activity to be her source of income. So, Gulnara participated in the new initiative of UN Women and Taso Foundation and purchased the necessary inventory for the sewing salon.

Gulnara offers quality service and smart design to her customers, including coats, T-shirts, dresses, curtains, aprons, linens, etc. There is no other sewing salon in the village, so Gulnara has many customers from Kartikami and its nearby villages.

Gulnara has interesting plans for the future. As part of the project, with the help of CARE, a logo was created for her and now Gulnara wants to make her own brand. For this, she is going to open a sewing enterprise in a separate building and wants to offer a comfortable environment to customers. As her business develops successfully, Gulnara also plans to employ locals, especially those with disabilities.
