Name : Nestan`s Coffee Business

Nestan Futkaradze is an entrepreneur from the village of Maradisi, Marneuli municipality. She always wanted to be active and have her own income. That is why Nestan participated in the Women’s Economic Empowerment project supported by UN Women and purchased a coffee grinder. With the help of the project Nestan became more motivated and started selling ground coffee.

Nestan offers quality services to her customers and wants to develop in the future. Along with expanding her business, she also wants to cooperate with various stores. In addition, Nestan needs a bigger coffee machine to increase production in the future.

 

The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building” is supported by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), implemented in Georgia by Kakheti Regional Development Foundation (KRDF), Taso Foundation (TF), and CARE International in the Caucasus (CARE).
