The cooperative “Jogho” was formed in January 21, 2015 in the village of Nosiri, Senaki municipality. It unites 12 local farmers, including 2 women who are involved in nursery. “Jogho” is a new member of the “Cooperative Fund” and whit its help, the cooperative is focusing on development.
The members of the cooperative produce different types of seedlings, including: persimmon, wild plum, kiwi, feijoa, blackberry, raspberry, hazelnut, laurel, poplar tree and others.
The cooperative always takes care of the development of its activities and the improvement of knowledge and experience. It has been involved in the state program "Plant the Future" since 2016, as well as in the certification process initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The members of "Jogho" produce 100-120 thousand seedlings annually for sale, but they want to increase production in the future.
